About

Hi,

I'm Sally and the creator of this cozy letter writing space. I love to write letters and felt that traditional letter writing has become more of a thing in the past, so I decided to encourage others to write letters. I love to discuss writing, letters, cards, pens, envelopes, and all things concerning snail mail. In a digital time, I strive to keep traditional handwriting alive.

Personally:

I like to read (especially the classics), write in cursive daily, write letters, send snail mail, and drink tea. I like to practice yoga and take walks outside. I love spending time with my husband and two sons.

Mission:

Pens n Letters Cafe is a virtual haven for pen lovers, letter writers, and anyone who appreciates the power of words. Our mission is to inspire and connect through the art of writing, fostering a community of creativity and self-expression.

Disconnect from daily life and distractions to write a letter or card to connect with someone today.

Happy Writing!

P.S. A little about why I fell in love with letter writing with a description:

What Awaits You at the Writing Desk: Your essential tools used during the Regency Era: paper, quill pens, ink, wax stamps, wax seals, pen knife, etc.

(I feel in love with this time era).

Ok, ok, our writing desks are quite a bit different now, but I love the entire writing experience with the feel of paper, the smell of the paper, the inks, fountain pens, regular pens, wax seals, etc.

I learned how to write in cursive in elementary school and I have continued to write in cursive ever since.

Fun Facts about me:

I love to read books, but I prefer the physical books (digital not so much :) ).

Listening to classical music, drinking tea, writing, and a bit of calligraphy are a few of my favorite things to do.

I have played the piano since I was seven.

If I'm not doing my favorite things you will find me outside. I have a dog and a pet bunny named Marquis.

Wishing you cherished moments, memories, and writing.

Warmly,

          Sally
